Italy. D’Este, then Pourtales collection. Since 1865 in the Louvre.
Description:
The statuette was executed after a Greek model of the 5th cent. BCE. Archaic style elements highly appreciated by the Roman connoisseurs of the 1st—2nd cent. CE were preserved.
