Description:
South procession, figure south 43, traditionally defined as Sextus Appuleius pater, about whom Cassius Dio (LI, 20) states that he was consul in 29 BC together with Octavian himself, and that later went to Spain as proconsul. In 26 BC he celebrated a triumph for the honours he had acquired during his campaign in the Iberian peninsula.
