Origin:
So-called “Domus of Dionysus” named so after the subject of floor mosaic in triclinium, is a part of the Monastery Garden Domus complex (Le Domus dell’Ortaglia) — remains of 2 Roman town houses (domus) of late 1st cent.—4th cent. A.D. The complex is known for a lot of floor mosaics in excellent state of presentation.
