Description:
Bas-relief aux ménades dansant, en marbre très fin. Vêtues d’une tunique transparente mettant en valeur leurs formes harmonieuses, les deux ménades en pleine extase dionysiaque dansent en tenant chacune la moitié d’un chevreau dont elles doivent consommer le sang et la chair encore palpitante. Cette œuvre de style néo-attique est imitée de Callimaque, sculpteur grec du Ve siècle avant Credits:
