In questa metopa è raffigurata una delle dodici fatiche ordinate ad Eracle dal re Euristeo, la cattura del cinghiale di Erimanto, L’eroe consegna le spoglie dell’animale al sovrano, che, terrorizzato, si rifugia in un grosso pithos.
