Origin:
Present location of the relief is unknown — it is missing in Mansuelli’s catalogue (1958—1961) where its inv. no. 321 is mistakenly appropriated to the other relief (inv. no. 342). The last inventory of this relief took place in 1914. Its plaster cast is exhibited in the Museum of Roman Civilization in Rome (Inv. No. MCR 5019). (Website Editor’s note).
Description:

Tab. XXII. Marmoreum anaglyphum, in quo Imperatoris Caesaris sacrum in honorem Deae Romae, exhibetur.

1. pag. 189. Christi CXCII. Hanc probavit pronus in adulationem Senatus, uti Lampridius memorat: Et eo quidem tempore, quo ad Senatum retulit de COMMODIANA.
