Description:
The standing goddess is holding with her left hand the spear resting on the ground. This statuette is a small scale copy of Phidias’ masterwork “Athena Parthenos”. The original sculpture is not correctly reproduced: the figure of Nike on the goddess’ right hand was substituted with an owl, the symbol animal of Athena.
