Description:
An Attic black-figured hydria, attributed to near the Painter of Vatican G 43, painted with a wedding procession showing a bride and groom riding in a quadriga, accompanied by a woman holding a pair of torches, a man playing the lyre, and a woman carrying a rectangular object, probably a folded garment, on her head, ivy branches flanking the scene, a boar flanked by two lions on the shoulder, rosettes in the field, rays above the foot, tongues below the neck, the details in added red and white, a graffito underneath.
