Description:
The youngest among the boys represented on the north side (north 34) should be Lucius Caesar, born in 17 BC and immediately adopted, together with his brother Gaius, by Augustus, who hoped that his nephews could succeed him. Unfortunately, Lucius died even before Gaius, in AD 2, near Marseilles while he was setting out to reach the Roman army in Spain.
