1st—2nd cent. CE.
CIL X 3917 = RECapua 103.

Capua, Provincial Museum of Campania, Lapidarium of Th. Mommsen
(Capua, Museo provinciale campano, Lapidario Mommsen).

Origin:
Because of the mention of quattuorvirate and formula SEN CONS which is typical for Cales Th. Mommsen thinks that this inscription originates from Cales. In Capua the inscription was located in the church of St. Vincentius. Then under arch of St. Eligius in the judicial square, where Th. Mommsen saw it in 1845.

Howewer, R. S. Conway argues that this inscription should be connected with Luca in the Volscian district (Conway R. S.).
